The property

Resting in the desirable village of Sticker, in close reach of a range of wonderful attractions as well as boasting its own wonder, The Barn is a marvellous choice for a luxurious stay in Cornwall with friends and family.

Offering character both inside and out, this detached holiday cottage is perfect for a group of eight in pursuit of an idyllic base, with a wide range of attractions in easy reach.

Make your way down the imposing private driveway and observe the beauty of the striped, manicured lawns, the stream offering a relaxing aura as you sit here each morning with a cup of coffee to start your day off perfectly.

Make your way through the oak porch and into the open-plan living space, lighting up the woodburning stove to bring a welcoming warmth in the winter months, as well as it boasting a dual-aspect between the sitting room, hosting enough seating for all to gather in the evenings for a family film night and the snug where you can unwind with a good book.

Completing the open-plan space is a dining table where you can play board games or delve into a tasty meal prepared by the chef of the group, the wonderful range of utensils and appliances at hand making your mealtimes a breeze, with so much preparation space to make the most of between here and the convenient utility where you can find even more appliances!

Up on the first floor sit the four beautiful bedrooms, the first being the master super-king-size with a TV as well as both an en-suite shower room and a dressing room where you can prepare for your day in style.

The three further bedrooms are made up of another super-king-size with TV, a king-size and a double, all with their own unique style and eye-catching interior, while benefiting from being served by the sparking family bathroom.

There is plenty to explore just a stone's throw away in the local village of Sticker, with all the simplicities of a Post Office, shop and award-winning pub, perfect for your self-catered stay.

A wider selection of amenities can be found in nearby St Austell, as well as attractions such as its brewery with its museum, bar and tours of the Victorian brewery with 150 years of enticing history, the historic landmark of Menacuddle Well with its pleasant walking route and plenty more fun-filled adventures awaiting to be discovered.

Pentewan is the perfect place to be for a relaxing day on the golden sands, while Mevagissey offers a different coastal experience with ferry trips to Fowey where you can find an aquarium, River Gallery and the beauty of Readymoney Cove.

Both The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are within driving distance and offer a fantastic day out for the nature lover, while a coastal walk is necessary to watch the stunning sunsets of Cornwall.
