    “Fantastic well situated cottage.”

The cottage is very walk and welcoming.

The property

Milliemook sits on a quiet road in the hamlet of Mawla in Cornwall, surrounded by rolling hills, this detached house hosts many unique features throughout and presents stylish modern décor.

Its large enclosed garden will be a treat for families with children or those bringing their pets on holiday, with spacious communal areas to spend quality time in this lovely part of Cornwall.

Enter this lovely stone cottage and walk into the slate tiled floor of the kitchen, showcasing the glossy red-fitted cabinets and the enormous range cooker there for you and your family to cook up a storm.

The dining area is a wonderful mix of classic and contemporary, with its original wood floors paired with bright and modern dining chairs, as well as custom-made bespoke armchairs either side of the fireplace.

The sitting area is in the large conservatory, where you can lounge on the three seater sofa in front of the TV and light up the woodburning stove in the winter months, or watch the last light of the evening fade in the summer.

The master bedroom can be found up a spiral staircase where you can enjoy your own private floor of this incredible property, complete with king size double bed, en-suite glass shower room as well as a sitting area with TV and large corner sofa, all leading to a private decked balcony that overlooks the garden, with stunning views out to the surrounding countryside.

Downstairs you can find another bedroom hosting two single zip/link beds that can be made into a king-size if it’s required, served by a ground-floor wet room with shower, basin and WC.

To the outside is a large enclosed garden with plenty of lawn space for running around, and a decked area with 6-person hot tub waiting for you to get in after a long day of exploring.

Tucked away in the corner of the garden is a pretty little summerhouse that is home to a TV, seating and a selection of books - a lovely quiet space to enjoy on sunny day.

Redruth has a beautiful pedestrianised town centre, lined with Victorian architecture, and on sunny days this part of town takes on a café culture feel with outdoor seating at every coffee shop to enjoy the sunshine with a homemade sweet treat, or a traditional Cornish pasty!

For a visit to the coast, you can head to St. Agnes, which is Poldark country; Trevaunance Cove has great swimming, surfing and fishing and is also nearby to the famous Wheal Coates with its three engine houses, a historic artefact of the Cornish mining industry.

You’ll want to return to Milliemook Cottage year after year, and discover all there is to see of this beautiful area of Cornwall.
