Children Making Christmas Cards
Here at Cornish Cottage Holidays we are delighted to once again be running our annual art competition, offering children across Cornwall the chance to design our 2023 Christmas card – and we would love you to get involved!

One lucky competition winner will win art supplies worth £50 and a bundle of Christmas cards in their design, plus their school or setting will receive £200 for its art department!

Entering couldn’t be easier! The rules are simple:

• The competition is open to any child up to and including the age of 16.
• The entry needs to be completed on our downloadable entry form.
• It must be landscape, and be as bright, colourful and eye catching as possible!
• Please do not stick anything on to the entry.
• Please include your name, age and school or youth group on your entry form.

Please email your completed entry forms to: victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk.

All entries need to be submitted via email by 21st October 2023 at the latest, in time for judging. The winner will be chosen and advised by the beginning of November.

Competition Theme

At Cornish Cottage Holidays, we are delighted to now be part of a B Corp accredited company. That means we are recognised for the positive contribution we make to the people, the planet, and the community we serve.

We would love it if you could think about this as a theme and create something that not only celebrates Christmas, but also reminds us of Cornwall’s beauty, and the need to protect and conserve the region.

Additional Information

PLEASE RETAIN YOUR ORIGINAL CREATION – should you win, we may need the original artwork to produce the Christmas card.

We plan to include the winner’s name, age and school on the Christmas card. We will also announce the winner on social media and in the press. Please ensure consent is received from parents/guardians of every child taking part. Where the child writes their name on the entry form, please write here if no consent given.
