This little beach near St Agnes is sandy and of a considerable size at low tide, but becomes very limited and rocky at high tide. Access to the beach is via a quick scramble across some rocks and pebbles - something to bear in mind if you are bringing lots of beach equipment with you! There is a small National Trust car park and a little cafe next to the beach; this cafe is where they serve the famous 'Hedgehog' ice creams - vanilla ice cream topped with Cornish clotted cream and chopped hazelnuts. There are also toilet facilities, and lifeguard duty during the peak season. The beach has a seasonal dog ban.
