Church Cove at Gunwalloe is so named as there is a fifteenth century church right next to the beach! If you are near Helston or the Lizard, it is well worth a drive round the coast to view such a spectacular location for a religious building. There is a car park with toilets right next to the beach, and a seasonal dog ban is in force (Easter to October, between 7am and 7pm).
