  • “This is the worse cottage that we have ever stayed in.”

Filthy dirty, absolutely disgraceful. All reactional activities were shut for the weekend. Pools have no water. Pub & restuarant shut due to staffing shortages. On our arrival at 3pm the cleaners had not arrived yet & we were told that we were suppose to only check in at 5pm. Oven firthy, microwave filthy. I had to vacumm the dirt out of the chest of drawers before unpacking my clothes. ...

I had to vacumm the dirt out of the chest of drawers before unpacking my clothes. I was so excited to have a holiday with my family after 18months of being isolated & was so bitterly disappointed with the accomodation that it dampered my whole holiday. Utterly false advertising due to no facilities being open. Sykes Cottages should carefully review their advertinsing as well as individual properties
