  • “We had a nice stay at Amarrah in Mousehole.”

I’m writing this review today to provide honest feedback. The location and cleanliness of the cottage was excellent. The interior design is cute. The one major negative is the quirky bathroom. It’s appealing on pictures but not in person. The tap comes out so far that it takes up quite a bit of the space in the already small tub while showering, the hand held sprayer doesn’t stay in the holder as it should do which made showering much more difficult than necessary. Also the shower curtains are just unpleasant when sticking to your skin the whole time. Both myself and my husband are petite people and found the showering experience to be quite restrictive. We cannot imagine how uncomfortable it must be for a larger person. The floor tiles are extremely slippery, and the toilet seat is too small for the toilet. We actually dreaded using the shower everyday. It was a real shame. Also, I highly recommend bringing your own pillows as we did because the pillows provided are extremely flat. Overall, our stay was good but we wouldn’t return due to the awkward bathroom.
