Why a Mullion Cottage?

Follow hedge-lined country lanes towards the Cornish settlement of Mullion. Inside the village, search the tightly knit streets to reveal an assortment of shops and art galleries in traditional, whitewashed buildings. There are a selection of cafes and tearooms available if you are looking for a quick bite, or a number of pubs and restaurants if you want to dine out. The church of St Mellanus in the centre of the village is renowned for its oak benches, the ends of which have carvings of various biblical scenes, including Jonah and the whale.

Places to Visit near Mullion

A mile away, you will find the picturesque Mullion Cove.  A quiet, sandy beach with a working harbour, protected from the wind by strong sea walls. Test your hand at fishing or test your balance on the body boards – one of the many fun-filled water sport activities to choose from. Nearby you can also find the coastal villages of Gunwalloe, Cadgwith and Coverack, all offering plenty of traditional Cornish charm. Further afield you can visit the popular Porthleven, Helston and Falmouth.
