Harrowbarrow, set in the AONB of the Tamar Valley, is one of many small rural villages close to the steeply wooded banks of the River Tamar, which forms the border between Cornwall and Devon. Harrowbarrow lies close to the Tamar Valley Railway, a scenic 14-mile route with regular trains taking in wonderful views of quiet countryside, Plymouth’s Naval Dockyard and the Tamar estuary.
