Gyllyngvase beach at Falmouth is a typical family resort beach, warmed by the waters of the Gulf Stream. It is a long, deep, sandy stretch of coast that attracts both visitors and residents all year. Set just off the main link road that leads to the Castle headland, the beach offers magnificent views across Falmouth bay. There are excellent facilities for all the family close by, including an ‘all terrain’ wheelchair available for hire from the cafe. There is a deck chair, volleyball and tennis hire facility available too. Queen Mary Gardens adjoin the beach, as does the South West Coast Path. Falmouth town is just minutes away.
